500 cps viscosity (syrup-like consistency) penetrates gaps up to 0.008" and gives you 40-60 seconds of working time. Ideal for spalted wood, burl, hiding imperfections, filling dark voids, and creating dramatic contrast accents in your projects.

Starbond Black Medium-Thick CA is the starbond black CA glue engineered for woodworkers and makers who need more than a color match — they need structural performance. At 500 cPs with a rubber-toughened formula, this black super glue fills deep cracks, stabilizes knot voids, and cures impact-resistant in walnut, wenge, ebony, rosewood, and any dark hardwood where standard adhesives either run, crack, or leave a visible light-colored fill.

The 500 cPs viscosity is the key difference from thinner black glue formulas: it bridges wide cracks without soaking in, builds up in knot voids without sinking, and sits on vertical grain checks without running before the cure sets. The rubber-toughened polymer adds a second advantage — the cured fill absorbs impact and vibration rather than fracturing, making it the right adhesive wood filler for any dark-wood repair that will take real use.

Pair with Starbond Aerosol Accelerator as a complete black CA glue and activator system for instant freeze at every stage of a layered fill.
