Repair is invisible under almost any possible light source. Tough, attractive results. Just be sure to work in gradual layers to avoid any fogging and micro-voids.
I'm using the Medium-Thick black CA glue to fill small crack or holes in hardwood that can occur in highly figured areas.
Also to fill holes, cracks or voids in burl wood before I turn it for pens.
Clear CA would not be appropriate for these purposes.

I use Starbond Black for all of my woodworking filler needs. I even fill very large voids with it and it matches black epoxy finishes for small touch up items. I also use the clear for temporarily joining parts for knife making. The only CA glue I use.
This glue is awesome. The viscosity is perfect for filling small and large cracks. Sands nicely and looks great!

Starbond black medium CA glue is awesome!! Not only does it hide imperfections but it looks natural and so easy to use. What I like the most is the bottle with the extra tips that are included. I usually have glue that dies on top and go through 2-3 by the time I use the whole thing.
