Microtips improve my bowl turning by allowing me to “chase” cracks. When a crack appears in a bowl blank I use Starbond Medium Thick CA Glue with a microtip to deep-fill the crack before I continue. I can then turn ‘through” that layer to clear wood without a chunk flying off the lathe and damaging the bowl’s (or my own) profile. Highly recommend Starbond Microtips. FIVE stars.
I needed these tips for a very slight and hard to reach crack in a ceramic piece. They worked perfectly hitting the crack and allowing just the right amount of Starbond Thin CA needed for the now, invisible repair.
Starbond CA glue is a fine, consistent product. But I got more than that.
This is a “gluing system.” It’s great to have extra nozzles and fine-tip applicators. Don’t have to compromise my work in that regard.

I use the micro tips to put the glue exactly where I want it. No worries about extra glue going where I don’t want it to go.
I make a lot of small decorative boxes and precision gluing is a big part of it. I love these applicators for delivering exactly the right amount of glue where I want it. Great product for a great glue.
As a recent user, I have been impressed by Starbond's products. The glues are high quality and the service is great. But more than that, Starbond has recognitized that clogged tips and the need for precise delivery points are critical parts of efficient use of their glues and proactively include new caps and tip extensions when you buy bottles of glue.
These Starbond tip extensions are very effective in every way, but I do question their cost effectiveness. Just a quick scan on Amazon shows that many sources are providing 100 - 200 extension tips at $3 - $4 per 100 tips. I've even tried one that sells 600 tips for $10! Some of the bulk tips are a bit thicker and stiffer but, in all those cases, the tips work just fine on Starbond, Zap, and Bob Smith bottles. The cheaper ones can be marginally more difficult to put on the bottles, but they work just fine in my experience and just warming in the hand for a minute softens them all enough to use without issue.
I do recognize that tips can be cleaned in acetone. But at half a cent each for the bulk supplies, it's less messy and less dependent on handling volatile solvents to just toss them out than trying to recycle them when I'm done with a gluing session.
So, that's a long-winded way of suggesting I do think Starbond should consider larger packages at lower costs for its extension tip customers.

I have a wood project that requires a small tip when filling holes/cracks with Starbond Superglue. This is the perfect applicator tip. When the project is completed. Just toss the tip because I have 49 more!!!

These are great! They make it so much easier to get the glue right where you need it.
These tips make it really easy to get the glue into small cracks and other hard to get at areas without wasting glue.
I’ve used starving as a lapidary glue for quite awhile. Recently I ordered some micro tips for my fly tying. Most or all other “ tying glues” tend to dry out or you can’t get the tips open when you still have half a bottle. Problem solved! The precision with a micro tip on a size 20 dry fly tip is amazing

I use them to attached to the spout that come with the glue. I also attach them to plastic pipettes for extreme control. I place the tip in the glue, squeeze the pipette and suck a litlle bit of glue into the bulb. I can direct small amounts where I want them. I invert the pipette over into a cup and it it is good for several days.

I have used Starbond product is my lapidary work with great results from filling cracks and "pits" in rocks to providing easy to apply backings to the stones I polish. I also use the Starbond epoxy in making Bolo Ties with great results.
