Starbond Flexible Medium-Thick Clear CA Glue is a specialty flexible-toughened cyanoacrylate designed for repairs and builds where standard CA glues are too brittle. Formulated at ~500 cPs, it flows with controlled thickness—ideal for reinforcing joints, stabilizing cracks, filling small voids, and making structural repairs that demand long-term durability.

Unlike typical CA glues that cure hard and brittle, this adhesive forms a clear, flexible bond that absorbs vibrations, impacts, and shear forces. It excels in applications where materials expand, flex, or move—such as woodturning, musical instrument repair, furniture joinery, crafts, model building, and plastic or composite repair.

With a 20–30 second cure window, the glue penetrates and polymerizes deeply before hardening. For woodworking tasks such as crack filling, knot stabilization, and turning reinforcement, accelerator is recommended to create instant, sand-ready fills and prevent sinking or uneven curing.

Starbond High Performance Glue, Simply The Best

I have been using Starbond Glue for a while, it has held up with no issues from any of my customers. I make custom chef, fishing and leather crafting knives. Which places a lot of stress on the materials, so you need that great bond. When you order, it is packaged nicely with fast shipping. When you're making that purchase straight from the company you're skipping the middle man.

I picked this up for my split sections that I make for knife handles and it is incredibly awesome. It has a long enough open time to coat the scales evenly and then press your pieces together with minimal mess. It really helps streamline the whole process. Within 15 minutes you can prep the scales for liners. I did a toughness test on it and needless to say it passed my expectations with ebony wood being ripped off with the piece I removed which took 4 razor blades and a hammer to do I might add. It handles heat extremely well while grinding down silver nickel spacers glued to g-10. It has 4X the impact resistance of regular super glue so it’s tough as nails as well. I’ll never use epoxy for splits again

I’m a HUGE Starbond fan. I use it everywhere/everyday in my shop. Great product, great service. Only one suggestion- put your web ordering address on your “we’ve all been here stickers”. I give those away to my friends who have shops. It is SO easy to look at my text tips from you guys and get an idea and order what I need. I allow NO other text alerts from ANY other company or person but Starbond. Usually I keep my Starbond backup supply in my freezer and I find that I am out when I thought I had some going to the freezer; no problem- I just go to my text and find the last Starbond text- click-order-it’s here. If only everything worked this well.

We use this CA for assembling our products. It is the only adhesive that I’ve tested that sticks permanently and stays slightly flexible when cured. The only downside for us is that they only sell the 16oz as kits, so we end up with extra bottles and tips going in the trash every month since we use a dispensing system.

Best glue ever. Especially for wood inlay!!

Used this new glue to join 2 pieces of a large dinosaur bone (47”, 155 lbs). I was worried about the pressure on the joint with most of the weight being on either end. Seems to have held up very nicely!

These adhesives now have a permanent spot on my shelf. I'll be replacing all of my other brand adhesives promptly.
