Product Description

Starbond White Epoxy Putty Stick is a two-part, steel-reinforced heat resistant epoxy glue engineered for clean, permanent repairs on surfaces that most adhesives can’t handle. Rated to 500°F, this high heat epoxy putty performs near stoves, dryers, water heaters, engine bays, and any application where thermal stress would cause standard fillers to soften, crack, or fail.

Unlike competing epoxy putty sticks that cure to a dull gray or yellow over time, this white epoxy cures to a bright, clean white finish that blends naturally with tile, ceramic, porcelain, PVC piping, appliance panels, and painted household surfaces. The result is a repair that looks professional, not patched.

As a complete high heat adhesive system, it covers far more than heat resistance: waterproof after cure, chemical resistant, sag-free on vertical and overhead surfaces, and fully machinable once hardened. Cut a section from the stick, knead the two parts together for one minute, and apply — 6 minutes of working time, rock-hard in 1–6 hours.

Heat Resistant Epoxy Glue for Plumbing — Pipes, Fittings & Wet Surfaces

Plumbers and DIYers trust a reliable heat resistant adhesive for pipe repairs because pipes carry hot water, sit near heat sources, and must hold under sustained pressure and moisture. Starbond White Epoxy Putty Stick delivers all three: rated to 500°F, fully waterproof, and non-sag for vertical pipe runs.

As a heat resistant putty that cures bright white, it’s particularly suited to PVC pipe, white copper fittings, and porcelain fixtures where color match matters as much as bond strength.

Perfect for pewter molds!

I used this pressed over a 3d printed, waxed, PVA coated form to make a master used to pour pewter medallions for a chocolate stamp. It worked perfectly. High resolution and handled the heat just fine.

Amazing

I wasn’t sure what to expect from an epoxy putty, but I was amazed! It was easy to work/mix, no need to measure or anything. Then I put it into holes in a wooden doorframe. Within 24 hours it was hard as a rock and I could drill the holes I needed. I will use this frequently!

Coloring Epoxy Putty

Obtaining satisfactory color saturation with mica powders is a ballet of adding color, mixing the putty and applying the mix before its working time expires. Lubricating the process with water, or acrylic paint helps. Test and practice before actually using it.
