Dark Brown Medium-Thick Super Glue Pro Kit — 20–30 Second CA Glue for Dark Woods and Walnut Knots — 2 oz or 16 oz
I use this Heavy Thin Super Glue to put a solid, polishable surface on porous knife handles. It functions perfectly for that purpose, thin enough to soak into the tiny pores, but thick enough that it stays on the surface. I just wish it wasn't out of stock all the time.
I use a variety of the Starbond products with consistent results i can rely on.
I got the flexible medium thick specifically for gluing 3D printed parts together, and it works great. It has a syrup-like consistency so it doesn't run all over the place, and works well for filling in the small textured surface from printing on textured print plates. I specifically chose the flexible formula so the joints aren't brittle.
An excellent product.
Bottles are very handly to keep smaller amounts of SuperGlue where you will using them instead of running aroud the shop to find them. Bottles are eay to write on to identify the contents. I also use them for other liquids that I want to keep smaller units of in my shop which saves a lot of waste.
Love this stuff! Very versatile. I used some to repair a wooden chair with a big break and some missing wood, and I used the steel-reinforced version to repair a weld on a broken ironing board! Solid as a rock!
I got a walnut plank and making a sofa table. Two knots had holes so filled them with black starbond. Had some pit holes on the edges so put the dark brown on those. Works nice and the accelerator makes it drie is seconds.
And so does everyone else cuz it's sold out! How does a Super Glue Store run out of Super Glue?!? Oh well.
