I bought the mica to fill knots on the vehicles I make. I used electric blue on the one in the pictures.

I use various methods to fill voids and cracks in my wood turnings. This was the first time using the Starbond Pigments product and it worked great with their Medium CA glue. The finished product is fantastic as you can see by the pictures and the variety of colors is great.

I made a mistake. It should have been five stars.

I was honestly impressed with this mica powder set. The colors are vibrant, mix really well, and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using them in woodworking and laser engraving projects, especially with epoxy fills, and the results have turned out great.

The powders blend smoothly without clumping and produce rich, bold colors with a really nice shimmer effect. I also like that the set gives a wide variety of colors to experiment with instead of just the basic options.

For the price, this kit gives a ton of value and works great for epoxy, resin art, crafts, tumblers, and other creative projects. Definitely happy with the purchase and will be using these a lot more in future projects.

I love using the dark brown epoxy to fill hole and cracks on my lumber. One quick spray the epoxy cures and I can keep working! The mics colors are awesome!

Using the flat black powder additive with two part epoxy resin gave me the result I have been looking for.
