Save time with better results. Starbond Thick CA glue can be used to fill wood knots, voids, and cracks; great for bonding mitre and trim, arrow fletching in archery and coral fragging.
- BOND IN SECONDS
Surface Prep: Simply clean the surface to be free of dirt, oils, and contaminants. Application: Apply a bead of CA glue (1 drop per sq. Inch recommended), a couple spritz of activator, assemble and hold the bonding mating parts together for 10-15 seconds. For glossy surfaces, allow extra time for effective bonding.
- Compatible With:
Wood, Fiberglass, Glass, Leather, Ceramic, Most Plastic, Metal, Rubber. Avoid using on low surface energy material such as polyethylene and polypropylene plastics, and silicone. If possible, make sure to use an abrasive to roughen up the mating surface when bonding smooth surfaces!

Knot repair

We found on the internet a badly warped give-a-way piece of maple with many imperfections and knot holes. After isolating a section large enough for my project (electric guitar body) and planing and sanding to the correct thickness, I filled the imperfections with clear thick CA glue and the knot holes with black knot hole filler, both from Starbond. The process was simple and quick. After sanding, the board was smooth and the wood looked natural.

Now the way to go!

The bundle method is the way to go for production projects. The refillable extra tubes are now another tool in my shop and bundled with the accelerator it’s very convenient.

Won’t fit

The replacement caps you sent me were the wrong size for the bottles I have been buying. I’m disappointed.

This stuff works EXACTLY as it should. Pay attention to what you need for your application...thin, medium, or thick matters! I used it immediately while working on a home renovation project, & it is great stuff! Would recommend.

First Time Buyer

The sanding discs cut quicker than my current brand and appear to last longer. I purchased these as part of the promo to try out the knot-filler system, which I have used, and it works exactly as advertised. These are great products that I will buy again.

Works well!

Although I only purchased two grits I know I’ll be getting more. So far they seem to last a bit longer than others I’ve used.

Fill those gaps!

I’ve been making multi-wood charcuterie and carving boards. No matter how careful I am with glue-ups and clamping, there’s ALWAYS a small gap… or two… or three, between pieces. This where Starbond saves the day. It’s easy and incredibly fast to squeeze some Medium Brown into the gaps, spray on Starbond Accelerator, repeat if necessary, and feel confident that nobody but me will know there was ever a gap. Depending on the wood, I might use clear. If I want what I’m working on to be more dramatic, I sometimes use black on a knothole or crack.
I tried Starbond Glue for the first time several months ago, and even though I’m just a “hobbyist” woodworker, have re-ordered twice AND given some Starbond glues to a friend who’s a very fine woodworker. Now he’s a Starbond fan too!

Filling cracks

Used the dark brown medium thick super glue to fill a crack in a spalted beech wood turning I was making and it worked great. Highly recommend the product.
