I recently purchased the carbon filter dust mask from Starbond. I've always used a standard dust mask in my shop, but they didn't always keep the dust from my nose or throat.
The Starbond mask fits comfortably, doesn't fog my glasses and is light weight. I also like the ear loops along with the Velcro tie back.

Happy to give a top rating to Starbond’s dust mask, but the idea that a close fitting mask would allow me to breathe comfortably for hours at a time is still a surprise to me.
The ear straps do not chafe, the adjustable neck strap comfortably keeps my chin inside the mask, and the nose piece fits not too snugly while keeping my glasses from fogging. Breathing is easy and I often forget that I’m masked. Best of all, at the end of a turning & sanding session my nose is free of sawdust.
Highly recommended. Five stars.

Hey guys n gals. I'm a full time knife maker and grind some nasty stuff. This mask works! It fits snuggly, it's comfortable and it works better than anything else I've tried. Most dust masks in spite of their claims cause safety glasses to fog up. These don't! It Works!

I typically just wear one of those “blue paper” masks when I sand my airplane builds. Now I will only wear the Black Dust Mask w/carbon filters. What a difference.

This is the best dust mask I have ever used and this is the second one I have purchased.

The mask is the most efficient and comfortable one I’ve ever used in my 47 years as a woodworker but I heave a problem that after just a few days of using it. It has started to slip down off my nose a lot. I think that perhaps it is because the ear loops seem to be loosening (stretching). It’s sad because I was like-ing the mask.

The mask is comfortable and fits well on my very large head. I have a hard time buying hats to fit because of my head size, and this is the first mask that is large enough to fit comfortably for extended working time.

Very nice, reasonably priced mask. Very comfortable to wear. I can wear it for multiple hours, and for get that I have it on. Does not get hot like other masks. The only issue I have with it is that it fogs my glasses. If I breath only through my nose, the fogging is reduced. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase, and will refer you to my turning buddies.
Looks like a good mask, maybe comparable to the RZ mask. I received as a free item on an order last fall. Size seems on the small side. I wear an XL RZ mask and could not even get this one on. I'll keep it for use by one of my grandkids.
I find this clumsy and uncomfortable. Sorry.

I received this facemask free with one of my purchases, and I have to say I was skeptical of how I would like it. It’s definitely a different design than the normal facemask. I am used to mask not fitting right which makes me not wear one when I’m sanding using chemicals or other lawn harming activities or so I did not expect match I really like this mask. I would buy one if this one broke and I will order replacement filters. I love the ear holes. It allows it to sit on my face just a little easier, good job Starbond
