Z9 Ceramic-Hybrid Sanding Discs — 5-Inch 8-Hole, Self-Sharpening Fast-Cutting Multi-Grit, 50 Pack

I’ve used Starbond products for a period of time and they work great, speeding up my time , giving my cutting boards more character where it’s needed.

Discs cut good and last longer than others I’ve used without gumming up

I could use a lot of high-end cutting boards with Central America South America West African and Asian Hardwoods this sandpaper does an outstanding job

I had a piece of elm that I recently worked into a small serving board. I used the Z9 sanding disc’s to finish it after planing. I also used Starboard CA glue to fill in the knots and cracks. I’m super happy with the end result and the performance of both products.

I got a chance to try out the Z9 today and I was thoroughly impressed. Right away I noticed the holes were slightly larger than other brands which made it easier to line up and I'm sure will aid in dust collection. It ran nice and smooth in my Bosch sander without any skipping, catching, or jumping that has happened with other brands. It held up well to sanding a Walnut table in preparation for the finish. An all around a great product for all your sanding needs.

After all the online hype i was perpared to be unimpressed. WRONG this product works hreat. Easy to use great set time sands easy. I have black thick and brown medium. Will be prdering the clear thin to mix with sawdust.j

Used them on some white oak, worked very well even at 120 left a very smooth finish. Hooked 👍

The Z9 discs are high quality discs! I sanded a wood/epoxy charcuterie board with these discs. The 80 grit, 120 grit, 180 grit, and 240 grit performed flawlessly. My board was silky smooth at the end and there were no swirl marks/pigtails. The Z9 discs reminded me of 3M discs. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Work great. Don’t get clogged up as fast as Home Depot ones. Have been performing 2x if not 3x longer.

First time using them.. had a project where I used the 120 grit.. I irked real well .. 2 night stands and still plenty of grit on the pad.. that doesn’t normally happen! Very Pleased!

Stripped old finish and stain off an outdoor table with 80 grit and then with 240 grit to give me a perfect surface to restrain and finish
