I have had great results with the dark brown and accelerator. It fills the cracks and when sanded smooth really holds well and adds to the look of the project.
Nothing beats your sandpaper, tried all the others and will not go back.
Repaired a crack in a white oak whiskey glass that I had made and so far it has worked really well! Easy and quick to use!
Instead of doing a test run, I did the risky thing and dove right in and used Starbond medium black and the accelerator spray on a charcuterie board for a customer. The text turned out beautiful and the entire process only took me about an hour, including sanding!

I had a piece of ash with an interesting knot. I used the dark starbond to fill in the cracks. Worked exceptionally well.

The Medium Brown was absolutely a perfect match for my recent Charcuterie serving board. Easy to use and I especially like the micro fine applicator tips that come in the package.
The Starbond dark brown CA did a great job filling in my rolling kitchen island. I stripped a dark finish and found that the voids were filled with a soft light colored filler. I dug out the filler and filled the voids with Starbond a much harder filler. I will buy more for future projects.
I was working on a walnut charcuterie board that developed a through crack along the inside grain. I had heard of Starbond but had never used it until now. I got the dark brown medium thick bottle and went to work. Since the crack ran through the entire thickness of the board I applied and cured several layers to build up the thickness. It is amazing how fast this cures with the Accelerator. I would literally be sanding 20 seconds after spraying the accelerator. The color matched my work piece perfectly and you can barely tell there was ever a crack. I highly recommend and will be buying other colors for my different woodworking projects. Thank you Starbond!
Works well to fill voids and as glue. Minus one star, it will (depending on the wood) stain the area around the void. Otherwise works great and I use it all the time for reclaimed wood projects for nail holes and knots especially, but have used it on some narrow cracks. The finish is smooth (after the planer) and adds character to reclaimed projects. Some voids the planer will simple knock the glue out of the void, but not often.

When working with woods where staining may occur around the void, we advise to first apply a coat of our clear thin or clear medium over the know surface. The clear CA glue will stabilize the knot so that the Brown/Black CA applied afterwards doesn't bleed into the grain.
I bought the black CA glue and aerosol accelerator. I used it on a piece of walnut to fill a crack and a knot hole. When finished using the products I sanded the board and it looks quite well.

This is a great product for filling in small voids or cracks, whether from a human error or Mother Nature's quirks. Accelerator allows me to keep working and the product sands away easily.

Worked great on my cutting boards. Filled knots and cracks and pin holes.
One of star bond's newest additions to their inventory has been the brown medium CA glue, I use this daily on walnut and darker wood tones to help fix cracks, chips and other issues. It has been a major time saver versus the old way of repairing darker wood tones. In the attached picture the walnut catchall trays were cracked in numerous places due to the wood being so dry, I used star bonds medium brown to repair all the cracks and then sanded it smooth, applied some oil and you can't even tell where I did the repairs.
Star Bond is absolutely amazing. I had a huge job to fill in the grain on oak stairs and to rebuild the corners where dogs had chewed the steps. It did the job and then some. I would highly recommend this for any project.
