In Alaska our choices of wood for turning bowls is limited and we often work with punky wood that Starbond CA glues are extremely useful for.
Also shipping to Alaska from other companies can be expensive or impossible but not with Starbond. I’m amazed at how fast they fill my orders.

I have been a wood turner for almost 45 years. I have tried several other brands and have found them lacking in the quantity that I need. Even though most others are cheaper I ALWAYS RETURN to Star Bond because it is really the best. Classic thin is really thinner then all the others and does what I need it to do. I like to use found wood and salvaged wood but it usually has problems such as cracks and voids that need to be secured before it can be safely turned, I trust Star Bond to do just what I need

The thin CA glue cures fast and you don’t have to use so much activator when finishing a pen. Just be sure to apply activator after last coat.

Starbond CA glues exceed my expectations for usefulness. I stabilize cracks in my turning blanks so that I can turn with confidence that the chunks won’t come flying off where I have stabilized them. I use the thin and medium glues and I also use the brown and black as well. These are very useful when I am turning spalted woods I am satisfied with the quality and the price.

Making rings. Needed a thin CA that didn't set immediately or too long and require accelerator. This CA soaks in nicely and starts setting up in about a minute so bubbles are able to release. Nice.

My initial attempts at inlaying stone and metal powders were extremely frustrating until I found Starbond - the classic super thin works for this (as does their odorless infiltrant glue)

I also work with a lot of old dry coastal oak and the bug trails and instability that make it visually interesting also make it very hard to turn - the Classic Super Thin works great for solidifying the wood enough to work with - the slower setting time allows it to get into the material and not just set up on the surface.

Great product for pen finishing. Usually use 12 coats and dries super fast in between coats. Excellent.

I have not had any negative results when using ANY Starbond products.I use them all thin semi thin thick colored.

Good product with a slower curing time similar to the heavy thin product but does not build as fast when I’m using it for a ca finish on pieces. Would be a great product in combination with heavy thin. Still hoping Starbond will bring back the 16 oz heavy thin bottle.

As usual, the thin and thick CA GLUE IS GREAT.

Personally, I enjoy using the original thin better than the super fast. In most cases for our uses, the thin CA glue is used on softer wood to help strengthen and harden it. The original thin does not activate as quickly, allowing it to soak deeper into the softer wood. This makes it ideal for this type of application

...simply Super. I use it for "backing" (adding strength) to cabochons that I cut and polish. (Cabochons is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted.) I also use it to fill small cracks is stone and to strengthen porous stones and fossils. Super glue is also my preference when I use a metal dowel in polishing a stone. (By glueing the stone, (especially a small one), onto the head of a nail or bolt, I can then hold the nail or bolt in my fingers as I turn the stone to shape it on a grinder of to polish it on a polishing wheel. To remove the stone, just put the metal and stone into a freezer for 30 minutes and then remove the stone using a razor blade or, (my preference) soak both in acetone for a few minutes.
I use Starbond Epoxy to attach the clasp to the stone when making Bolo Ties. Also a small dab of glue on the tip of the cord will keep a braided cord from unraveling. Starbond Super Glue/and Epoxy is the best glue I have found and the only glue/epoxy I use.
