Wood Epoxy Putty — Walnut — Cracks & Furniture Repair (2 oz)

Repair a chipped furniture edge or small hole in a cabinet with material you can shape to fit. Starbond Walnut Wood Epoxy Putty is a two-part epoxy wood filler and shapeable wood repair putty for nail holes, small cracks, dents and missing details. The Walnut shade gives you a colored starting point for the repair. Press the mixed putty into the prepared area and form the outline to suit the surrounding piece. For furniture repair, cabinet touch-ups and trim details, this filler adds body where a liquid glue would leave a void.

Prepare the repair before cutting a portion from the 2 oz stick. The putty uses a 1:1 mix ratio. Knead the two parts until the color is uniform, then apply and shape promptly according to the package directions. Once cured, this sandable wood filler lets you refine the surface; the hardened repair can also be drilled and painted. Check your intended finish on a sample before applying it to visible furniture or trim. A wood color varies with grain, stain and lighting, so test the Walnut shade against your project rather than assuming a perfect species match. For two intact pieces that need joining, choose a suitable bonding adhesive.
