I recently purchased the carbon filter dust mask from Starbond. I've always used a standard dust mask in my shop, but they didn't always keep the dust from my nose or throat.
The Starbond mask fits comfortably, doesn't fog my glasses and is light weight. I also like the ear loops along with the Velcro tie back.
I would buy it again.

Just received my 5-layer Defense Dust Mask with 3x Carbon Filters - really makes a difference. Very comfortable to wear and easy to breathe with the vent flaps opening when exhaling which also prevents fogging up of glasses too. Definitely a massive improvement over the surgical masks I have been wearing and will be wearing it more often too thanks to it's comfort. Great product StarBond!
The dusk mask seems OK. There are no detailed instructions or images on how to remove and reattach the filters.
Happy to give a top rating to Starbond’s dust mask, but the idea that a close fitting mask would allow me to breathe comfortably for hours at a time is still a surprise to me.
The ear straps do not chafe, the adjustable neck strap comfortably keeps my chin inside the mask, and the nose piece fits not too snugly while keeping my glasses from fogging. Breathing is easy and I often forget that I’m masked. Best of all, at the end of a turning & sanding session my nose is free of sawdust.
Highly recommended. Five stars.

Hey guys n gals. I'm a full time knife maker and grind some nasty stuff. This mask works! It fits snuggly, it's comfortable and it works better than anything else I've tried. Most dust masks in spite of their claims cause safety glasses to fog up. These don't! It Works!

Just startied using Starbond on a cherry desk top. Filled all the little knots and fine cracks. Very user friendly.

I typically just wear one of those “blue paper” masks when I sand my airplane builds. Now I will only wear the Black Dust Mask w/carbon filters. What a difference.

I ordered one bottle each thin, medium, and thick glue. When they arrived, I found the bottle of medium had leaked during shipment and everything in the box was stuck together. I was able to get everything broke loose and cleaned up pretty well and tightened the cap on the medium bottle. I used the thin glue that day and it worked great. I then placed all three bottles on my glue shelf. The next morning I found the medium glue had either leaked or oozed from the bottle, leaving a sizable puddle on the shelf, sticking several nearby items together and dripping onto my shop apron hanging under the shelf, rendering it unusable. I contacted customer service explaining the situation and requested a replacement bottle of medium glue, as I had to dispose of the one I had. I have received no reply. Good glue, but unfortunately I probably won’t buy again.
This is the best dust mask I have ever used and this is the second one I have purchased.
I’m new to using Starbond and I’ve been really happy with the results and how easy the product is to apply and finish.
