1 min reading time

Sanding with a sander and sanding discs is an easy DIY task, but vibration can sometimes impact the quality of the work. To reduce vibration and achieve optimal results, follow these tips:

  1. Attach a firm backer pad to the sanding disc and tighten all parts of the tool properly to reduce vibration and maintain a flat, even surface.
  2. Ensure the sanding disc is securely attached to the sander.
  3. Start at a low speed setting on the power tool and gradually increase as needed to minimize vibration.
  4. Use a circular motion while applying even pressure and avoid applying too much force to prevent gouging the wood.
  5. Regularly check the condition of the sanding disc and replace it if it is worn, damaged, or has an uneven surface to prevent excessive vibration.

Choosing the right sanding disc for your job is key, and that's why our sanding disc package carries a variety for all your sanding needs. We include more quantity of commonly used sanding discs, (20 pcs x 80 grit), (20 pcs x 120 grit), (15 pcs x 180 grit), (15 pcs x 220 grit).
